During Interview
Tip #09 of 15
Your body language is being evaluated the whole time
You are not just being judged on your answers. Things that silently hurt you: slouching, avoiding eye contact, fidgeting with your phone or pen, crossing arms, monotone voice, looking down when answering. Things that help: sitting slightly forward, maintaining calm eye contact while speaking, nodding when they speak, smiling naturally. For video interviews — look at the camera, not the screen. Clean background, no background noise.
💡 Reality Check
Interviewers make subconscious hiring decisions within the first few minutes based on energy and presence — before you have said much at all.
