Mindset
Tip #13 of 15
An interview is a conversation — not an interrogation
The mental frame you enter with determines how you perform. If you walk in thinking "they are judging me", you become defensive and closed. If you walk in thinking "we are both figuring out whether this is a good fit", you become relaxed, curious, and authentic. You are also evaluating them. Is this manager someone you can learn from? Is this company serious about its people? You have every right to find out.
💡 Reality Check
The best interviews feel like two professionals having a genuine conversation. That energy is created by how you walk in — not by the interviewer.
