Desperation kills more offers than lack of skills
When you need a job urgently, it shows — in how quickly you agree to anything, how much you deflect difficult questions, how eager you are to please instead of to contribute. Counterintuitive truth: the more you need the job, the more you need to act like you do not. Focus on whether the role is right for you. Be genuinely selective. That calm selectivity reads as confidence — and confidence is the single most attractive quality in a candidate.
